EZRA'S BIO
With dozens of films to his credit, Ezra has proven his ability to transform into vastly different characters covering all genres of filmmaking. His experience with some of Hollywood's most prominent and innovative major-player directors (David Fincher, Clint Eastwood, George Clooney and Christopher Nolan to name a few), combined with his well-established indie-film credibility has made him a go-to for challenging and unique character roles. Most recently he has had the great opportunity to create a pirate character for NBC's Crossbones. He is in nine of ten episodes as Oswald Eisengrim, a henchman to John Malkovich's Blackbeard. His comedic abilities have been utilized by the likes of the Farrelly Brothers (Me, Myself & Irene, Say It Isn't So) and Terry Zwigoff (Ghost World, Art School Confidential) while his uncanny knack for tapping into a character's darker side has rewarded him with a strong fan base in edgy dramatic films, as well as Horror. His film work is balanced by an extensive list of television credits as well. Spanning 3-camera sitcom style to 1-hour dramas, directors know that casting Ezra is a sure bet when it comes to the highest standards of professionalism and performance. On the legitimate stage, he is also known for his broad range. From classical to modern theatre, Ezra is able and willing to adapt to whatever acting approach is required for a standout performance. Including musicals. Ezra's singing voice and physical technique on stage has been summed up as “Fred Astaire with a Danny Kaye flair!”*
