Theatre Of Note
I am a member of a Theatre Company here in Los Angeles called Theatre of Note. These pictures are from productions I have participated in. In some I have acted, in others I have directed, compiled or stage managed.
Towering Inferno... The Musical
| As it's name implies, this was a take-off of the 70's disaster movie. It was my introduction to Note. A fabulous comedy in which I played Fred Astaire and several other roles. |

| An evening of three plays. My character was an old man, searching for meaning in his life in the fortune cookies that came with his food every day. |

A Mulholland Christmas Carol
| Another original from Bill Robens. A commisioned work performed in conjuction with the LA History Project and the Edge of the World Festival. |
SON OF A BIKER
| This was a show I helped Stacy Mathewson rewrite and adapt from a stand-up comedy routine he originated. I also directed. Maybe it will be a sitcom one day. |
TRULY TRULY GARLAND
| Another show I directed (simultaneously with Son of a Biker). It is a one man show compiled by Miguel Montalvo from actual tapes made by Judy Garland at one of the many low points in her life. |

IF YOU DON'T KNOW, I'M NOT GOING TO TELL YOU
| Theatre of Note is always busy. They often have 'Late Night' shows running after the mainstage performances. They usually start at 11pm and have an audience all their own. If you don't know, I'm not going to tell you is a series of 5 minute performances. |

HAMLET - THE FIRST QUARTO
| Theatre of Note is known for presenting new works by new authors, however, they usually present one classic play each year. This year, producer Tim Sheridan is presenting Hamlet - The First Quarto, a seldom produced version of Shakespeare's well known play. There are many theories of how the First Quarto fits into the history of Hamlet and I certainly am not qualified to champion any of them. I am enjoying playing the role of Corambis (Polonius) and the Gravedigger. |

Actors Gang
The Actors Gang Theatre here in Los Angeles was originated by Tim Robbins among others. It has a long history in the LA theatre scene and is known and respected nationally. I was fortunate enough to be cast in a production staged on Actors Gang main stage. I got to meet many wonderful people, including Tim Robbins.
EXIT THE KING
| This production was produced by and starred John C. Reilly. My association with the show began as stage manager, but when an actor had to leave I was offered the role of Julliet a 65 year old caregiver for the king. |

The Fabulous Monsters
PROJECT ALICE
| The Fabulous Monsters. What a great name for a theatre group. They are political animals. They gave me my first opportunity to perform on stage in LA. Project Alice is a take on the famous story Alice In Wonderland, a what if... version of Lewis Carol on drugs. I guess that isn't really stretching it. I was the White Rabbit and the Dor Mouse. I worked with the FMs at least once more, but alas, no pictures. |

The Smell of the Crowd
| The Sacramento Theatre Co. is an old and respected member of the regional theatre world. When the opportunity presented itself to sing a lead in this rarely performed play from the 60's I couldn't say no. |
NADA Performing Space
Andy The Red Nosed Warhola
| This is a play which I compiled from various writings of Andy Warhol. It has been performed in New York, Seattle and Los Angeles. If you would like to read it, you can find it on my Evil Twin page of writings. |
